Senior Systems Administrator
Client is a venture-backed, location-based advertising platform looking for a super smart, energetic and organized candidate to help develop a rapidly growing business that spans the web, mobile, wi-fi and email.
The right candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced and challenging work environment. S/he must have experience with large-scale distributed systems and be accustomed to responsibility and accountability.

Responsibilities
• Design and deploy a system infrastructure that is web-scale
• Develop SOP for redundancy and failover to support strict SLAs
• Manage a high availability, high volume distributed production environment
• Handle network operations
Requirements
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• 5+ years experience
• Expertise with high availability, high volume distributed systems
• Strong skills with systems administration, troubleshooting and diagnostics
• RHEL or variant is a must
Preferred
Experience with the following technologies:
• Java applications
• PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
• Nagios
• MRTG
• Cisco switches and routers
